Catching Up!! ~JUNE~

WOW!! What a GREAT summer we have had! This is just our June, I will have to update July and August later. I can not believe that school is starting in 2 weeks! It is bitter-sweet, because I am sad that there will be no staying up late nights and sleeping in late mornings filled with PLAY PLAY PLAY all day days! But on the other hand, I could certainly do without all the quarreling that goes on between Carter and Richie and nagging to get the chores done. So a little down time might be good, plus I LOVE the fall. It's my favorite!

Here are some highlights!:

A few days after school got out, we took off for a trip to Nana and Poppie's house in North Carolina. While we were there, we celebrated Alora's FIRST birthday! Happy Birthday, sweet baby girl!

The last weekend we were in NC, we took the older boys (and left Alora with Nana & Granny) to Wrightsville Beach and also to the aquarium. While there we ate at this great sea food restaurant on the beach!

We also had a family reunion to celebrate that my Grandparents would have turned 100 this summer. It was so great to see all of my relatives that I have not seen in years!
