My baby boys are BIG boys! This was Richie's first day of
FIRST grade!! And Carter's first day of
PRECHOOL!!! It was such a bitter-sweet moment for me....on one hand I was so glad to have the boys done with summer, with all of the bickering and fighting and boredom, so they could FINALLY go to school and fill their little brains with something other than video games! But on the other hand, it was so
sad to have them leave...especially Richie, being in all day school for the first time. 8:30 to 3:30 makes for a long day away! Carter only goes Mondays and Wednesdays for a couple of hours in the morning...just enough time for me to get some Mommy/Alora time in!
Carter LOVES his little backpack! He would wear it all day every day if I would let him.

This is me wondering how bad it would be if I started blubbering like a baby and gave him a big hug and smooch right there in front of all of his classmates. I settled for an over-the-shoulder-hug instead.

I think I will choose the embarras the snot out of my kid by blubbering route when Hunter enters first grade. My mom did it to me... it's only fair!
